Harris Uni-Core™ (HUC)

The Harris Uni-Core™ is a limited use, disposable multi-purpose coring tool consisting of a razor sharp stainless steel cutting tip designed to simultaneously cut, retrieve and store cored samples in one operation from such materials as paper, gels, cloth, leaves, paint chips, films, tissue or other thin substrates.

Unlike the more robust Harris Micro-Punch® and the high throughput Harris e-Core™, the Harris Uni-Core™ is available in many more coring diameters. The double ground, razor sharp cutting edge, ensures extended sampling use on a wide variety of substrates. Each Harris Uni-Core™ is sold with a protective cover cap over the cutting edge and in its own individual pouch, ETO sterilized and sold in boxes of 25 pcs. A 2.50 x 3.00 x 0.70 inch thick, inert, self-healing Harris Cutting Mat™ with dual cutting surfaces is sold separately.
